Sessions in my home office
Sessions at my place are only available Monday through Thursday with advanced booking, I usually do not have any last minute openings on weekdays, as I am booked online for 2 months in advance. It is in Marigny Triangle, it is OK to park in front of the building , nobody cares about "2 hour parking" sign as there are no meters. I do not have a buzzer and you will have to call me on the phone to come down and get you. The address will be given to you if we agree on doing the session - it is NOT the address on Google maps, but nearby. I can not guarantee that there will be no noise outside as we can have construction, movie filming, or neighbors in pools, but it is usually OK Monday-Thursday. This is a very touristy area - easily accessed by foot or streetcar. I recommend taking Uber or Lyft - so you do not have to look for parking or drive after the session. Warning - my place is small, cluttered, and very bohemian, not soundproof, it is a condo building with lots of neighbors, it is usually quiet on weekdays, but you never know... Worse comes to worse - I have noise-cancelling headphones and if it gets very noisy - we can use them, but they do not screen construction noise. If you are claustrophobic, have chemical sensitivities, or very particular about the place's appearance and "energy" - get a hotel room or book an online session! I do not have any pets, and nobody smokes tobacco inside (but we have a balcony and you can smoke a cigarette before the session if you want to) If you have to drive on a highway after the session - please go to Buffa's or Port of Call, 2 blocks from me, eat something, drink coffee or energy drink/soda - for grounding, and stimulation, play loud music in the car, keep your AC very cold. If you have to drive for more then 1 hour - you must get a hotel room or Airbnb to stay overnight, to avoid 'highway hypnosis" after the session, I do not recommend driving long distance after the session, especially for more than an hour. I am not responsible for any parking tickets, towing, or car accidents - I recommend that you DO NOT DRIVE on the day of the session at all, but it is your call, and you are fully responsible for your own car, parking, and driving. If you are not a good driver - take UBER or ask a friend to drive you.
If you are coming here on a bike from Bywater - we have a backyard to keep the bike inside, but my neighbors have lots of bikes chained inside already, so there might be no place to chain it. Make sure your session is in the afternoon, so you do not have to bike back late at night, it is not safe.
Sessions in HOTELS/AIRBNB
If you are visiting New Orleans and have a centrally located hotel room or Airbnb rental - I PREFER to do a session in a hotel room or in your rental - as long as it is not far from French Quarter. I do not drive and will have to take Uber there - so you would have to add round-trip Uber fee from Marigny Triangle (you can use Port of Call or Buffa's Restraunt location - as they are very close to me - when checking Uber fee to your hotel) If you are staying in the French Quarter or Marigny Triangle - I will waive Uber fee - as this is in walking distance for me.
Sessions in hotels are 300$ for 3 hours plus r/t Uber fee from French Quarter.
I INSIST on a hotel room or AIRBNB in several situations
1.You are driving to New Orleans for longer than 1 hour. I do not want you to drive back long-distance on a highway after a hypnosis session. (unless you have a designated driver) But in general - I do not like scheduling folks from out of town if they do not have a hotel room reserved. Having a reservation in a hotel also make it more reliable for me - as I do not ask for deposits for in-person sessions, but people who reserved a hotel room are much more reliable in my experience, as they would lose the rental fee if cancelling last minute.
2. You want a session on a weekend. Even if you are local - I do not offer in-person sessions in my location on weekends, unless it is last minute and the weather report is for 90% rain. I live/work in a very touristy spot and it is crazy here on weekends - lots of noise, neighbors having parties, loud music, party buses, no parking at all. I keep weekends open for going to HOTELS ONLY or my own social life. But I might be able to offer you a weekend session in your hotel on a short notice, as I do not schedule any online sessions on weekends, so I usually have something available on a short notice.
3.You have chemical sensitivities or very particular about the place to have a session. Actually, it is better to do a session ONLINE in case of chemical sensitivities, as hotels also use regular chemicals for cleaning. My place in NOT ZEN, it is small, cluttered, bohemian, lots of paintings and Indian fabrics and idols, so if you want a specific 'vibe" to feel comfortable - get Airbnb or a hotel room, they all have pictures. Hey, I will take a shower and smudge myself before your session - but I can not provide a perfect place for your ideal experience. I had clients renting rooms in skyscrapers to be closer to the Cosmos, or historic buildings with classic interiors - to explore past lives in New Orleans...If money is not an issue - find your ideal space and I will come there (but you will have to pay extra for my Uber)
4.You are bringing TV or movie crew to record your session. I agree to do this, but not in my location. My fees for these gigs will depend on what is it for, I will sign a release, but this should never be in my own home.
I am often asked to recommend a hotel for a session. I like ANY Holiday Inn locations (3 of them near French Quarter) - low budget, quiet, 2-3 pm check in, AC is not crazy loud. The place on Lee Circle offer early check-in or stay for a part of the day. Most sky-rise hotels on Canal street are OK. Monteleone or Roosevelt are my personal favorite for high-end hotels.
DO NOT book any hotels facing Bourbon or Decatur Streets in the Quarter, or in wooden buildings with a room facing a pool or courtyard - it will be quite noisy. In general - modern buildings are better as they are soundproof and do not usually have any ghosts - this is a NOLA thing - people love haunted houses, but you do not want one of those for a hypnosis session. (you want to deal with your own past life and not a ghost's life story)
No-nos - MOXY on O'Keefy - crazy loud air conditioner, you will not get a decent recording! It is cheap, but not comfortable and very noisy.
Crown Plaza on Canal/Bourbon - always a brass band on the corner, we could hear it on the 12th floor. (unless you want to explore New Orleans past life with second line music)
Airbnb - up to you, do not rent anything in Marigny or Bywater close to railraod tracks, these trains are crazy loud, plus it is 'party central" with a lot of noise. Garden District or modern buildings in CBD would be a better choise for Airbnb.
I also do Online sessions.
I have about 25 millions views on www.Quora.com and about 30K followers to my blogs. Here is the link - Irina Nola on Quora - my profile, or my main space is PAST AND FUTURE LIVES.
